Ok, please forgive me if this is not 100% "athletically correct." I am definitely no expert...I am a professional male in search of a "partner in crime" to spice up life and make me laugh and smile. I enjoy all that life has to offer and teach me. I would like a Woman that is not afraid of new things… In my 30's I over-indulged. In my 40's-living in love. In my 50's-independant and cautious. Now in my 60's-calmness within and the wisdom of knowing myself. I say what I mean and I mean what I say. Live and let live meaning accepting someone for who they really are-not trying to change them and vice versa-AND experiencing things have always wanted to but never have because of fear, also remaining open to new experiences. Doing my utmost to live in truth every day. We all want the same basic qualities in our prospective mates. TRUST, honesty, loyalty and appreciation, patience, understanding and compromise all in respect and friendship. I believe those qualities are needed in the basic foundation to a great relationship. Friend's who have each other's back. No games please! I can be shy/curious, calm/nervous, affectionate/independent, direct/indifferent, quiet or a good conversationalistI feed off the person I am with. My friends say I can be "one of the boys" as well. I have also been described as persevere, which can be a "catch 22". I am happy with my own company as I hope others are.It is how I calmly and joyfully live each day.

You forgive quickly and kiss slowly. You will enjoy us being together. You are not afraid of an independent man yet you remain rather old-fashioned. At my age, experience and time has given me the wisdom to know emotional games are for the soulless. Truth cannot be lived without facing reality. If we cannot be truly honest with ourselves we can never be honest with others. How sad for anyone not to experience the freedom of living honestly ! My thirst for nature is endless. I crave the wind in my face, the sound of rustling branches, Horseback riding in the snow or walking in light rain. I love all animals, wild and free. I especially like dogs; they are unconditional love aren't they! Books, magazines, local paper. is wonderful and can be as simple as a stolen kiss at the crosswalk or flowers for no reason. am a sensual man and intimacy is an important ingredient in a relationship...the attraction must be as much intellectual as it is physical... I enjoy an evening out dressed to the nines as much as I enjoy a good action movie on the couch with a bowl of chips! I am not a great cook but am happy to take you out for dinner or if you prefer to cook - I am happy to do the dishes!! I am travelling this journey of life with great friends and family but would like to take someone's hand to walk with me...not to complete me but to compliment me...I am not seeking an all consuming relationship as I presume like me you have a career, friends and family that you also want to make time for but be prepared for if you are unique and we click....I will adore you!...There are many things in life that are more fun shared...a walk along the creek or a walk in the woods, a banana split, a bike ride, an appetizer at the outside cafe,, a great movie (or a bad one!), or just a conversation about how our days went... Life is such a rat race sometimes, I love finding beautiful locations for some romantic and relaxing peaceful quality time with the one I love.
